Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a 14-Day Exam Pass or Semester Pass instead of monthly?
Students told us they hate forgetting to cancel monthly subscriptions over summer break or after finals. The 14-Day Exam Pass ($4.99) is tailored for exam crunch week, and the Semester Pass ($19.99) covers your entire 4-month term for ~$4.99/mo with zero auto-renewals.
What happens after my Semester Pass or Exam Pass ends?
When a one-time pass expires, your account simply returns to the free tier (3 lectures a day). All your previously generated study notes, cram sheets, flashcard decks, and quiz history remain accessible in your Study Hub.
Does the free plan require a credit card?
No. You can start using VideoNoteGPT completely free with no credit card required. The free tier gives you 3 lectures a day, every day, resets at midnight UTC, with lectures up to 3 hours each.
How does export to Anki work?
Pro, Exam Pass and Semester Pass users can click "Export to Anki" on any generated flashcard set to download a native .apkg SQLite deck. Double-click the file to import directly into Anki desktop or mobile with front/back flashcards, key definitions, and lecture citations.
What payment methods do you accept?
All checkouts are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and international bank cards.
Are my course materials and recordings private?
Yes. Your course recordings, slides, and notes are completely private to your account and never used to train public AI models. Uploaded recordings are deleted within 24 hours.
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied?
Full refund within 14 days, no questions asked. Email hello@videonotegpt.com.
